Six months, 11,500 miles

I've been driving the FFE for just six months, and it's taken me 11,500 trouble free, gasoline free miles. It's saved me about $2000 in gas compared to the BMW it replaced.

I am pretty much surprised with the FFE. I bought from an out of town dealer as my city is not large enough to have a Ford Electric dealer. My dealer is about 135miles from home so if it has to go into the dealer for work it means renting a trailer or a long tow. I have used the car for 10 months as a commute and around town car and have 6,700 miles on it now. One problem a few months ago when the car shut down in a parking lot. I wound up disconnecting the battery for a moment and reconnecting followed by a normal start. Round trip commute is 44 miles so I have enough range for a side trip without issues. Fun to drive and it keeps miles off my older Porsche.
