MyFord Touch gets customized for Ford Focus Electric

If a driver wants more in-depth information, they can use the MyView feature and personalize their displays. All of this is done with five way buttons on the steering wheel. Ford Focus Electric owners can configure their own information in the left screen - apparently only the left screen.
With MyView, drivers can choose trip budget and range views.

The MyFord Touch system for the Ford Focus Electric also coaches drivers on how to optimize the use of the Ford Focus Electric's regenerative brakes that recapture kinetic energy and send it back to the battery.

The right hand display in the Ford Focus Electric uses blue butterflies to graphically represent the additional range beyond one's charge point. The more butterflies, the farther you can drive, and the prettier your car looks :lol:

Since some current models have had issues with the MyFord Touch, my guess (no data to back it up, just a guess) is that the reason that the "late 2011" launch has changed to "early 2012" is due to tweaks needed in this functionality.

lol thats funny cause it uses sync from microsoft. lol even in the keynote about sync the ford ceo or whatever he was said you can use your ipod. he didnt even mention the zune.
