C and D are the only two that sound appropriate to me for an electric vehicle. A and B sound like a jet engine and loud ICE car. I hope they allow it to be turned off like the Leaf does.

Whichever one is chosen, pity the poor parking lot attendant who has to listen to it over, and over, and over .....

Same for the people at the drive-through window at McDonalds and similar.

Maybe they can get insanity insurance :D

Thank you for posting these. I don't think anyone will be able to turn them off, so one hopes for the best choice, whatever that is.
 
I think number A sounds the most like an electric motor, just an insanely loud one, or one that's right about to run over you!

The second one sounds like a gas engine.

The last couple sound like the Tim Taylor version of the Jetson's hover car.

I wouldn't really want my ford focus electric to sound like any of those. What's the point of the sound on an electric car?
 
Some of those sounds for the Focus Electric definitely sound futuristic, but I don't know that I've ever heard a toilet that sounded like that!

I've also never been on a starship though :)
