Ford Suppliers Add 5500 Jobs to Support Launch of Ford Focus

The new Ford Focus line up uses 75 percent of the same supply base globally.

With over 310 suppliers in 22 countries making some part for the new Ford Focus line, many are expanding facilities, upgrading equipment and adding employees. 5500 jobs have been added in North America, Europe and Asia to produce the Ford Focus parts.

Developed in Europe for sale in more than 120 markets worldwide, the new Focus is a key part of the One Ford plan to leverage the company’s global assets.
