Dude, why did you post this to every forum here? Geesh.

Look.. we all sympathize with your situation, and I'm sure you are frustrated with Ford, but it wasn't very considerate of you to spam us all with your open letter. This isn't a Ford-run board. All you did was annoy us all. Posting it to the "Suggestions for Ford" forum might have been a better idea.

And, btw, may I suggest you also post your open letter (but please don't spam) the forums at https://bev.myfordmobile.com. That is a Ford-run board. I would suggest the "EV Ownership" forum over there.

Good luck.

All I see is this post here - where else did it go? Was it deleted from the other forums?

Hey Ashuri...

I wasn't upset by the letter - I feel EXACTLY the same frustration.

I think you should repost it *once* ;] right here for all to see. People need to know what is happening.

Yes you should repost your letter. Did you report your problem to the NHTSA which the other members seem to be recommending to recipients of the Stop Safely message? I just leased 2 FFEV's and am really becoming worried. In place of range anxiety I am getting SSN anxiety.

Mr. Mulally

You had me at "electric", I waited with great anticipation for the release of the Ford Focus Electric. I even started to convince my wife that it was a good idea to buy "An American Made Car". Well the dream has died.

I have had 2 Ford Focus Electric Cars, the 1st I purchased in November 2012, it was clear to me the following day that the vehicle had "inherent cosmetic defects" (according to Ford). I brushed that off to the newline vehicle model, human error, etc..

My 2nd Ford Focus Electric I bought 12/12, it worked...for a little bit of time. I soon experienced what many others have, "Stop Safely Now". The 1st time I was on the freeway and without warning my car stopped, I was escorted by the CHP to the side. The 2nd time, I was making a left turn and the car stopped mid-turn, I again had to have police assistance to be safely moved. The 3rd time, I was driving downhill and it happened again.

Mr. Mulally, I have been without my vehicle for 58 plus days, Ford agreed to re-purchase my vehicle, but since July 30th I have been without transportation, my wife taking my son and I to work,etc...

I have asked that Ford assist me with rental and/or gas, I was told to talk to the "repurchase team", the repurchase team told me to "talk to the customer service manager".

The final straw was when I received my most recent repurchase offer and the items that I had personally sent to be reviewed and were agreed on were not included.

In the meantime, I pay my car payments $622.95/month and car insurance $178/month and take the bus to my 3 jobs, have my wife pick me up, all with my son in tow.

Mr. Mulally, please make this right, neither your "Customer Service Team" or "Repurchase Team" want to assist me. I have reached out to your Ford Corporate Office to no avail.

There are many people who read this forum and others that I will direct to this posting to see if they assist.

Mr. Mulally, help me "Go Forward" as your tagline says.

Sincerely
Nick A.

postscript: I received a call from Lynn Buckmann, the are willing to reimburse me for gas, etc... I will post a full "buyback" post once complete. I'll tell you this has been a wild ride!!

Thanks ashuri. I too agree that your letter should be posted for us to see, just not copied to all forums. :)

I hope your case gets worked out. Keep us informed.
