Cleaning the 2012 Ford Focus Electric wheels is just as fun as cleaning our 1987 Mustang GT 16 spoke wheels. In addition the 2012 FFE 225/50/17 tires were squealing & spinning & skipping an awful lot. (note:I replaced my 2008 Subaru STI with a 2012 FFE) I found out that the 2012 Ford Focus sport package 5 spoke 18x8" wheel did not have the disclaimer on it that it did not fit the BEV(Battery Electric Vehicle), unlike the other 17" rims from Ford. I priced these at my local dealer for >$600.00 apiece. I found them new, online by searching for #BM5J1007FB at less than a 1/3 of the dealer cost. I put 225/45/18 summer sport tires on these rims and mounted them on the FFE. No rubbing, no squealing and cleaning takes only a few seconds. I haven't been able to slide the FFE yet with this combo. The 5 spoke wheel and tire combo weigh 26lbs. The stock wheel & tire weigh 25 lbs.

Correction: The 2012 Ford focus wheels are 15 spoke not 16 spoke.9/1/12

I take it that means NOT fun to clean them?

How much are you asking for the wheels and tires?
