A senior person at Ford Corporate has told me that the TPMS is barometrically compensated, so when interpreting TPMS alarms, one need be conscious only of tire temperature (10 F˚ of temperature rise or fall changes pressure by about 1 psi), not also of altitude. Nifty! I suggested the manual say so.
