Anyone have a jerk and clunk when slowing down rapidly on hills?

Tue Oct 06, 2020 7:10 pm

Since we got it new in 2014 we have had this clunk and jerk when slowing down quickly on a hill. It happens more often if there is weight in the back. This year our front wheel bearings needed replacement. After they were replaced the car was SO QUIET! Even more than brand new. And now a few months later it is making a louder sound again like it is starting to go bad. Our local Ford dealer tried THREE times to find the clunk and can't recreate. Anyone have ideas? Thanks!

Sounds like it's the bunny hop.

You'll find other posts on it.
