Recently my CC has started coming on automatically at every start. It is very thoughtful to set it at 70* every time, but it frankly shocks my wife and I when we see the mileage drop. Is this a software glitch or a configurable? I don't recall changing anything in settings?

Turn it off before you shut off the car, it won't come on automatically the next time you start it.

Odd. I set my CC to 72 usually with the A/C "on". It remembers that setting when I start it again. The thing I have to look out for as the temperatures start to drop is not to leave the A/C on if the A/C is set higher than the outside temperature. This causes the heater to turn on and the mileage range drops like a rock.

Mine remembers the climate settings that I last set... on/off, fan speed, temperature, whatever. Works great. That is... until it starts forgetting, which it decides to do randomly after working fine for days or weeks.

When it does start forgetting, it also often gets stuck in a state where, if I last left the climate off, it will come on full blast the next time I start the car. Or, if I last left it on, it will stay off when I next start the car. So... if I simply turn the car on/off, without touching the climate in any way, the climate will literally "toggle" between full blast on and off all by itself. How you write software that does that is beyond me.

Anyway, when it starts to forget and/or go toggle crazy, I simply reboot MFT by pulling the fuse. Then it starts remembering again. I've gone through this process about 6 or 7 times now.
