SiriusXM has turned on the service in select markets for customers to try out. They will have the service available until Sept 8th.
Does the SiriusXM radio work in your area during the demo period.

They just need to make it free with commercials. OR have 2 channels - one for paid and 1 for unpaid with commercials. They have commercials on the paid service anyways.

I know a lot of people hate the idea of paying for sirius, but I figure it costs me about 25 cents a day. I spend maybe two hours in the car, it's worth it.

It's a terrible platform for music (low fidelity). The only thing it's good for is uncensored talk shows.

I have travel link, it only cost $25 for the entire year. It's nice to be able to pull up the weather and radar.

Its fidelity is much better than my hearing. I'm fine with the way it sounds. Besides, I'm in a car going down the freeway, how great does it need to be?
