Hi all,

Got my FFE on November 30, 2014, living in the Pacific Northwest I haven't seen too much for range yet. That all changed this weekend.

The temperature raised to nearly 70 this weekend. So I loaded up 4 adults on Saturday and headed up Mt. Hood for a day hike. Left at 100% charge and drove 30 miles up hill to hike the Salmon River trail. On the way home took a 4 mile excursion to get some meat for the BBQ. Then my wife drove another 5 miles to the grocery. 30% battery left.

On Sunday my wife drove about 22 miles late morning, then we had a last minute chance for dinner with my daughter in Salem. So, 58 miles down to Salem and had dinner while the car was outside on a Blink charger. Then 58 miles home. 18% battery left.

A lovely weekend.

This is such an improvement over my winter weather range. Very nice.

If Ford puts a DC quick charge on the 2016 model and is able to reduce the battery drain for heating, I could actually use this car for 98% of my driving year round.

I actually saw my GOM at 96 miles.
