Much like my Estimating Power Consumption page:
http://www.myfocuselectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1732

I've come up with another map page that may be useful: Driving circles:
http://jamiegeek.myevblog.com/2014/02/19/how-far-can-i-go/
Or "How far can I go"? This page will estimate really how far you can go from a single point.

I thought of an enhancement but I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off..

Query the plugshare website and populate inside of the circle with charging stations. As a further enhancement to that: Allow you to click on a charge station and then draw the drive polygon around that.

(The plugshare website does have some developer info on it..)

Pretty cool!!! Works well on my pc, kinda works on the droid; on the droid the green polygon shows the range on 4 to 5 major freeways/highways as the vertices. Still very useful for me.

Thanks!!!

Wow Jmueller - great work on both of those calculators. Those are both super sweet.

I smile at the polygon around Lake Michigan - guess I can't make it to Lake Shore Drive!!! Just kidding, you have to use a little common sense with the polygon.

Both of those are such great applications. A guy could now just about plan a long trip using charging station addresses. There wasn't a way to do that reasonably before these two calculators.

Thank you.
