Re: Nissan Unable to Meet Leaf Demand; Delays to Continue

So that means chances of anyone getting into a Ford Focus Electric by the end of 2011 is pretty slim?

How long did the whole sequence take for the F150?

Re: Nissan Unable to Meet Leaf Demand; Delays to Continue

Interesting point about the Leaf backorders I hadn't considered that, but I still wonder why they let so many people 'pre-register' if they knew or thought they might not be able to fill the orders within a reasonable amount of time? I like to think Ford will surprise everyone in late summer with a ...

Re: Towing the Ford Focus Electric

You could definitely tow the Ford EV on a trailer - but I'm sure you knew that already :D And it will likely be a little heavy for this, compared of course to a Honda Civic or other car that is typically towed behind an RV. You could probably get away with a dolly that raises the front wheels off of...

Here are the 25 items that usually require the most inspection, maintenance or replacement during the 10-year / 150,000-mile life of a car that the Ford Focus Electric will never have to worry about: Air filter Alternator Battery Clutch Fuel filter Fuel injectors/fuel pump Motor mounts Motor oil Muf...

Hurry up and produce the Ford Focus Electric!

Hey Ford, Here's a tip! Get going and make the car and start selling it! There's plenty of us that want to buy one. Look at what Nissan has done and learn from their mistakes. Take pre-orders, take lots of them from anybody that will pay a $99 down payment. Build the Focus Electric like mad men so y...

Re: Free car charging stations planned

That's a good point - and I guess this article hints at it. Everyone (except people that are all stoked about the Ford Focus Electric and the Nissan Leaf etc) is down on electric cars because of the extra power they'll need to pull from the grid. Really what that means is more business and more oppo...
