Re: Go time - not working?

I have the "Ford Protect" used car warranty. I haven't gone through it completely, but I think its close to bumper to bumper. I have the warranty history and it looks like the Telematics Control Unit has been replaced under the warranty already.

Re: EVSE Mounting Ideas

Or do you mean the other cord? The input cord? ah yeah they all have about 2ft on that side. Yes, the input cord is gov't mandated to be 18" max. Some cords are slightly longer than others due to a portion of the cord starting further inside the EVSE. The Chargepoint seems much shorter than my Siem...

Re: charging rates

Maybe Chargepoint is wrong, but it shows that my newly installed home EVSE is pulling 6.98 kW (though it shows 23 miles added in an hour (real time). I thought it peaked at 6.6 kW. I'm running it out of a Nema 6-50 with a 60A breaker.

EVSE Mounting Ideas

Does anyone have a good idea to mount a freestanding EVSE? The wall where my Nema 6-50 is located is right below another 220V outlet as well as my breaker. Given that EVSE's have extremely short cords (and cant be bent much) this leaves me with limited options. It doesn't help that the wall space is...

Re: Go time - not working?

App can be quite buggy. Best to use settings in car. FYI the GO times and Value charging both rely on the TCU (telematics control unit). Sometimes the TCU crashes or just stops working. Usually pulling the F1 fuse (rear hatch area) for the TCU and then re-inserting it will reboot the TCU and get th...

Re: New to me '13 FEE

You could use mine GOT 240V My garage is like yours. FFE on one side, Mini Cooper on the other. :D Thats my wife's 04 John Cooper Works with 44k miles.. She LOVES it, but we're installing solar panels and it makes sense to get another EV or Volt. We're conflicted. You think I paid a fair price? My ...

Re: Performance Upgrade Complete

Funny, as soon as I bought my FFE I was very tempted to stick some ST badges on it. Only because if you know what ST means, you know that my Electric isn't one. If you cant tell the difference, you most likely have no idea what those letters mean.

Blasphemy?

New to me '13 FEE

Hello! I just picked up a '13 FFE with 31k miles for $9300 in very good condition. I was actually looking for a Volt, but they seemed overpriced in my area (considering I sold one 3 years ago for what they currently go for). Seems like Volts have really caught on, and the values have held steady. In...

Re: Go time - not working?

I just purchased my FFE 2 days ago and really like it so far, though I'm still learning how to navigate through the tech. I set up Go times on my car's menu initially. I didn't realize the time set was when you actually needed to go, I thought it was a starting time for auto-start (like on my Chevy ...
