Re: FFE buying noob, need help

You can get a brand new 2017 for about $14,000 after the tax credit. I think the range and equity position make it a better buy. I had mine transported from California to Texas for about $650 I don't think you can find them that low. Well maybe close. When I was shopping for mine a few weeks ago, I...

Re: FFE buying noob, need help

Just curious why you aren't considering new? I just leased a 2017 FFE (w/leather) for the below price. $270/mo, 36mo lease, 15k mi/year, $0 drive off. $9720 (in CA I get a $2500 rebate as well) = $7220 My residual buyout is $8080 if I chose to purchase it at the end of the lease. There will be tax o...

Max kWh on new 2017 pack?

Hey everyone. I just got an FFE 2017 on a lease (15k/year). I downloaded for scan lite and want to keep tabs on my battery over the coming years. I'm a leaf owner as well and consider myself quite experienced in measuring battery degradation and such. My objective is to simply determine how my pack ...

Re: Value Charge and Go Time Seems Broken

Hey Everyone. I got it to work. I had to do a workaround but it works. Here's what I did. 1. I rebooted the sync with a master reset. 2. I set all value times to 1AM - 7AM (as suggested to avoid the midnight issue) 3. Plugged in and noticed that it kicked on for like 5 minutes, then it shut off and ...

Re: Optimizing battery life

For the FFE you don't really have to worry about charging only to 85% Ford put a buffer in so that 100% charge on the dash is only about 90% charge on the battery to begin with. I'm new to FFE but have analyzed the heck out of the pack in our Leaf and I do doubt that there's 10% headspace in the FF...

Value Charge and Go Time Seems Broken

New FFE owner here. I've read a few posts about this topic and I think I have a pretty good understanding of how it works (or is supposed to) but I still think it is problematic. Here's my experience with the Value Charge and the issues I'm having. I tried to set it to my low electrical rates M-F 11...

Re: FFE Leases in SoCal?

Not in SoCal, but I just leased a 2017 with Leather interior in NorCal for $272 mo with $0 drive off taxes, 36 mo lease, 15k Miles/yr, and $8080 residual buyout. I was shopping multiple cars at multiple dealers and this was by far the best deal I found. My total payments will be $9800 (less $2500 fr...

Specifics about the TMS system?

Can anyone shed some light on the specifics of the TMS system on the FFE? I just got a 2017 FFE and am a long time Leaf owner, so I know a bit about EVs, but wanted to know some more detail about the TMS system. Some specific questions are listed below. 1. I know the FFE has one, but I'm not sure th...
