The replacement will probably be the version that supports 240v as well, search the technical forum for more information.
That would be sweet !

Re: Ford is recalling 120v chargers

I wonder if they will take the one I tore apart back? Put it back together, trade it in, then put that sucker on ebay for $500. LOL. I agree: It is likely the returned ones will get scrapped (or, hopefully, recycled). I doubt they'd refurbish them; especially if the circuit doesn't have the provisi...

Re: Anybody know how many cells in the battery pack?

On a side note, I was chatting with the tech at the dealership that is holding my car hostage, and he said that his software in his scan equipment lets him view the actual voltage of each cell of the battery. I thought that was pretty interesting. I think that can be done yourself with ForScan too.

Re: 2014 weird issues

My Experience: I had intermittent issues with my FOB not working, when my FFE was approaching five years old on the original 12V battery. I thought it was the Key FOB, so I replaced that coin cell, but the intermittent problems still persisted. A few months later, the car would not even power on, th...

Re: Winter tires recommendations.

And I wouldn't even bother trying to find a better price, just do the full set from Tire Rack. They ship quickly to your house, completely mounted and balanced, ready to put on the car. I tend to agree, as two of my three sets were purchased that way. The third set, for the Focus, I kinda fell into...

Re: Winter tires recommendations.

I've been using Bridgestone Blizzaks on my 3 Fords every winter so far. All four, at each wheel. Compared to the Michelin Energy Saver LRR tire, it's a night and day difference for Snow/Slush here in Cleveland. I've got two sets on Steelies, while a third (for my Focus) on OE 16" Focus Alloys I foun...

Re: Hope for future Ford efficiency improvements?

"I can't imagine the FFE being under 300!"

Wait, were you NOT getting sub 300wh/mi efficiencies with your Focus?
Since November, my average per month gas been 259.3 Wh/mile, including January at 346.
