Re: iPhone images: Southern California charging stations.

About your Ford dealer--that's a total BS attitude to exhibit to a Ford customer! I would report that to someone at Ford. The dealer near my work has a charger EXPLICITLY for customers visiting the service or parts departments. Some dealers will only charge cars that are in for service, they don't ...

Re: Nice Focus Electric Review

I love my FFE, but the stock sound system is marginal at best. You must be a millennial since you don't seem to know how crappy factory audio systems can be. The stock FFE sound system is phenomenal compared to what was stock in most cars 10-15 years ago. I would say the factory sound system is "ok...

"With heated leather seats, sharp interior design, multi-color ambient lighting and a phenomenal stereo I find the FFE to be all luxury at a respectable price.

Phenomenal stereo? Reviewer must not have listened to many stereos.

Re: Really need a charging station?

Installed the GE EVDSWGH-CP01 this weekend. Between the charger and the wire it was about $475 to purchase.

So far so good.

Has this issue been fixed in produced cars at some point? Mine was built on 5/12/15.

Yes they are a pain, but I'm more than willing to do it to prolong the paint, interior, etc.

There is a pocket in the cover for the antenna.

Car cover and remote start

Curious. My 2015 FFE will be an outside car :-( I purchased the Ford OEM Cover for it (no I did NOT pay the crazy $400+ for it). http://accessories.ford.com/kit-10419.html If I leave the cover on, and remote start the car (to get either the heater or AC to make the interior more comfortable) will th...

Re: Which L2 and why?

That GE unit that you mention, is it model #EVDSWGH-CP01 for $399?

The reviews are great. The only issue or concern I see is there is no on/off switch that I see on the $500+ units.

If the car isn't plugged into the unit (and charging), does the charging station use any electricity?

Thx!

Re: Which L2 and why?

So far I've settled on the Siemens. It seems that no matter what I do I'm looking at $500 - $600 for a glorified extension cord.....sigh!

You need to be careful. People can get brand new ones for that.
