Re: Lease a new 2018 FFE vs purchase a used 2014 FFE

$21K for a used 2014-2015 FFE is way too high. Should be closer to $12K or less. Buying a new 2017 FFE with the discounts for the remaining ones plus CA rebate and Fed tax credit should offer a better deal plus getting a bigger battery. Check out Mossy Ford in San Diego I see they have several new 2...

Re: FFE does not start charging if the battery is near full

On your 2012 FFE, how low percentage wise compared to a full capacity new battery did your original battery get down to in order to get a free warranty replacement with the new higher capacity battery pack? Less than 50% of new capacity?

Re: 2018 FFE Battery

Not seeing discounts in the LA area for the 2017. I see one Ford dealer in San Diego, CA shows 27 of 2017 FFEs listed with $3393 dealer discount plus Ford retail bonus customer cash of $3,350, so reduces the total price down from MSRP to as low as under $24K before any tax credit and CA rebate, but...

Re: 2018 FFE Battery

I'm seeing big discounts on remaining 2017 FFEs at local dealers compared to the prices on new 2018 FFE on the way to dealers, so there if there isn't any improvements on the 2018's sounds like the remaining new 2017's are a better deal? I also saw a used 2017 FFE at a local dealer with about 5K mil...

Re: 2018 FFE Battery

Is there any other known differences with the 2018 FFE vs the 2017?

Re: No power whatsoever

Sounds like your small 12v battery discharged, a common occurrence on the FFE.
You need a 12v car battery external charger, I always keep one in my garage for emergencies.

Re: Parting thoughts on our FFE

Hey I had a 2014 FFE and then 2016 FFE with over 30k miles total...first was taken back by Ford and second was sold locally after zero issue over 20k miles. Anyhow I just got a Bolt Premier too and I noticed that you have one. I like the Bolt (65kwh battery) but I miss some of the Ford features Wha...

Re: Use Ford Focus Electric to power home

I've used a small 150W inverter in power outage emergencies from a car 12v accessory jack.
It was plenty for emergency uses to power a light, a low power LCD TV, etc.
The longest power outage I've had over the past several years only lasted a few hours so that was good enough for that.

Re: FFE buying noob, need help

I see a private party used 2015 FFE listing in my area, but they want $15,500, has 29,518 mi!
They must not be aware of the proper price range, since also in my area a Ford dealer has a certified used 2015 FFE listed for $11,833 and it only has 14,121 mi.

What's the price on the 2014?
They're asking 10K.
Thats pretty good if its in good condition and the mileage isn't too high. Might need new tires?
