Re: How many FFE are sitting on dealer lots?

There were 3 in north Texas when I got mine. ...shortly thereafter they were all sold. Dallas Fort Worth is a near perfect place for these 68-88 mole range cars.

...summers a little hot. Going into my first. Very curious what a 140 degree parking spot at work will do.

Texas Summer about to start - Temp Management System Questn

Summer is about to hit Texas. I read every thread I could and wanted to verify...

The battery temperature management system will cool batteries when NOT plugged in.

True or False?

...because I cannot plug in at work and don't want to toast (literally) my car battery.

Re: Be careful where you plug in!

It seems to me that this person thought it was his God given right to free electricity. Fortunately he was corrected the hard way. We can draw some conclusions about free charging stations. If for example you pull into Kohl’s department store, and then recharge your car. But instead of doing your s...

Re: Be careful where you plug in!

First off I wholly object to the notion that because it is public property it is ok to steal. It is true, I pay my taxes to the school... TO FUND EDUCATION, not to fund your electric whatever! You are essentially stealing from me and my kids. Stop it! However, common sense needs to play a role here ...

Re: Is Ford going to sitck with the EV or not?

Likely directly related to California, I assume Ford allocates their cars in a logical manner. Lots to California. A some to other places that are perfect for the vehicle. Very few to places that are not perfect (anyplace with super cold winters). I bought mine in Dallas/Fort Worth which is a fairly...

Re: It's cold outside message

I got the message today as well, but only after I had already driven to work: http://jamiegeek.myevblog.com/2013/11/12/really-getting-cold-here-now/ You can safely leave it plugged in in your garage, it will heat itself to the proper temperature (and charge as well). Mine is parked outside overnigh...
