Re: Home Quick Charger

Is the line voltage drop seen at the electrical service panel when it's under load? If it is I would check to see how far your house is from power companies transformer. If your house is like a 1000 feet from the transformer this would explain the voltage drop. What I heard is that Tesla super charg...

Re: ST Wheels.... Lowering springs?

Looking at some the suspension parts list for the FFE. It seems the major difference in the front suspension is the stabilizer bar. This may be due to the front axel weight between the gas version is similar to the electric version. It is the rear suspension parts that are significantly different. T...

LG chem and the rumor mill

I found this interesting article about LG chemical manufacturing expansion. They mention a forth battery production line coming on line for an undisclosed customer. http://insideevs.com/lg-chems-mystery-automotive-customer/ Some think this customer could be Ford. Ford kept a tight lid on the GT befo...

Charge times verses battery capacity

I think a good indication of battery capacity is charging time. If you nearly completely discharge the battery and it takes less than three hours to charge the car. This would be an indication of significant battery capacity reduction. This test should be done on a 30 amp level 2 charging station. C...

When the car is plugged in does the drives display indicate that it is? On the charging station do any of the power lights come on? If you are parking in a parking ...

Re: Charge station fail

Is the charging station blowing the internal fuse or is it giving an over current fault?
If it is a fuse you are replacing, what is the fuse number?
Also check the model number of the charging station sticker to verify it is a 32 amp station.

I have travel link, it only cost $25 for the entire year. It's nice to be able to pull up the weather and radar.

Free SiriusXM satalite for now.

SiriusXM has turned on the service in select markets for customers to try out. They will have the service available until Sept 8th.
Does the SiriusXM radio work in your area during the demo period.

Re: 100 days at the shop; what a joke!

The FFE does not have an engine, it has an electric motor.
It sounds like the motor case had a defect in the casting that caused the failure.
