Re: Main Display Blank

Rw-
I had the same problem with discussions on MFM. I called the tech people and they told me it was because I was using a user name with a space inbetween the words. The user name has to be one word. I changed to one word and the discussions popped up.

Re: Dead 12V battery

If you drive an hour a day with the seat heat heaters on max, they might use a fifth of a kwh. Or less than a mile of range.
Have you really tried that??? Makes for a pretty warm arse....

Re: Real Time Look at Accessory Power Consumption

Good Job Rw, I got to the budget view excactly as you have pictured. I cannot get to the accessory power screen...... Turning the heater on took 14 miles immediately off my range. If you can redo this procedure, would you mind posting the steps? In exploring these menus options I found multiple item...

Re: Winter conditions.

Rw - I do have a 240v plug at work and therefore I don't really sweat the range. However, I get caught up in the "maximizing efficiency" issues. It is like a game:D It does appear that I will have to use the gasser for my monthly run to Providence. Pretty much this car is perfect for me because I wi...

Re: Missing trips on My Ford Mobile

If you look at my community in MFM you will see "2581 Ford EV'ers" that should be an indication of how bogus MFM is. In my case I have driven 8645 miles. That can be seen by clicking on "Vehicle Info" on the front panel of MFM. If you click on "My Driving" MFM only gives me 1729 miles. Just two week...

Re: Winter conditions.

Me too!!! I am seeing the same 300+ watts per mile. I commute, one way, 40 miles and have been getting a little nervous. I can pull the watts down to about 280-290 after driving for 40 miles, but I start off with big number like 450 watts. My fresh battery range has been reduced to 55-60 miles and i...

Re: Dead 12V battery

Thanks for the interesting info on the 12v battery. In keeping with this discussion, does anyone know exactly what the 12v battery runs? Does the main Lithium battery constantly charge the 12v, or does it only charge when the car is plugged in. Are there any power saving tips to be gained. For examp...

Re: Technical Service Bulletin TSB 12-8-20

Whit, That is what I expected about the flashing. I think they are just wiping out the old info and letting you start from scratch but not really doing anything with the actual battery relationship. I am not sure if or how the algoritum actually interacts with the battery in any way regarding charge...
