Re: Debating buying a 2013, what is the typical battery life?

The problem is Ford doesn't want to support this car. After the 8 year warranty you are SOL if the battery coolant springs a leak inside the battery as has happened to several people. A replacement battery is over $20k so not worth it at all. Pretty much after the warranty the FFE is a disposable ca...

Re: Value Charge and Go Time Seems Broken

Value charging and go times rely on the TCU. Pull the F1 Fuse for a few seconds to "reboot" the TCU. That may help.

ridiculous it doesn't come with the color. that's just a hilarious foo-pa with the manufacturer. the side mirrors come with matching colors.
You cannot order the mirror covers painted. like the port cover you have to get them painted to match the car.

Re: 50 amp outlet

Your electrician is an idiot. I wouldn't let him touch anything further in your house. If he installed a NEMA 14-50 receptacle to code, a 50A circuit breaker is appropriate. As stated above the circuit breaker is to protect your house from burning down. It should not exceed the ampacity of the wires...

Re: Cold Air Intakes

Cold air intakes are a joke. A very short distance down the road from a stop your intake temps will be the same as if you had a cold air intake. I can't imagine a cold air intake making any measurable difference. It's kinda like putting a wing on your trunk of your 4cyl. FWD compact car. I do find i...

Re: Service manual Ford Focus BEV

To my knowledge there isn't one. Let me know if you find it though. I think the only option is to pay the hefty subscription to http://www.helminc.com for the workshop manuals. I don't think they exist in paper form or DVD form but I could be wrong.

Re: Looking for advice

You can also use the app to start preconditioning the car before you leave. The key fob to remote start works from about 100yds away so that's another possibility if you park close enough to the building to remote start from inside before going out. Ford's support for this car is abysmal. basically ...
