Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Considering your post was 5 hours ago, it might be too late to tell you that the drain plugs are located on the bottom surface of the battery on opposite corners. If you haven't downloaded the service manual, I would suggest you do so before you get too deep into it. https://www.myfocuselectric.com/...

FordPass Update, Might Want to Skip

I noticed that FordPass had an update available on the Apps Store. I was hoping that the update would take care of the missing Energy Consumed type information. Nope, still not there, however now My Journeys is gone, and been replaced by a very simple and boring My EV Driving. So if you like the map...

Re: Usinig yesterday's drive to calculate today's range? Understanding the Guess-O-Meter?

Yeah, the guessometer is pretty much that. But I use this thought process. The % of battery gauge is not linear, but fairly close. I know that 100% is 28 kwh (2017 FFE). I know that my typical consumption is approximately 250w/mile. If I am on the highway, it will be a little bit worse, if I am stop...

Re: AT&T sunset and MyFordMobile app

Or maybe not. I keep getting a service procedure interrupted message in Forscan. It took 2 hours for the update from -UM to -UN. I turned off screen savers, power management, etc, so that the update could proceed uninterrupted. Check if you have a screen saver running. Check if your power settings ...

Re: AT&T sunset and MyFordMobile app

Don't know about the dealer. Though it might seem that my installation has been problematic, it hasn't been as bad as it sounds. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I want things to go right and am willing to take extra time, extra effort to make them happen that way. I am not used to doing these type...

Sorry to hear that, considering the part probably came from China, you are in for a wait.

Re: AT&T sunset and MyFordMobile app

The other module was the BECM. But the site has been down for a while, and here is an update. I found that if I disconnected the 12V battery for a few minutes, the dang DTCs would go away. So with that in mind, I went for -UN. and again, it took 2 hours to install. (As an aside, when I do firmware p...

Re: AT&T sunset and MyFordMobile app

Well, something might not have gone right. I got the trim pieces off and connected the TCU. In Forscan I cleared the DTCs and yeah, that one for the TCU came right back. The modem had -UE calibration so I downloaded the "available" -UM in forscan. Something did not seem right, it would dow...
