Re: Sync is down

Hi, Do you know if Ford has replaced your 2g modem for a 3g modem? Also, you can check if the modem is detected by the car if you go in the settings / about section. If you do not see a serial number under the modem section your problems could be related to that. If it is the case, Ford needs to pul...

Re: 2017 FFE 100km range

Hi, In the summer, I usually got 180/200 km of range with my FFE 2017. With extreme cold weather as we have now in Quebec province (-23C/-10F), I have a maximum range of 100/120 km. If the temperature is around 0C/32F, it goes up to 130/150 km. Do not be surprised that L3 charge is very slow in cold...

Re: 911 Assist feature with Sync 3 & Android Auto or CarPlay

Hi, I have noticed that if I connect my iPhone with CarPlay, I can still activate 911 Assist feature but without setting my emergency contacts. My emergency contacts are reset to undefined if I use CarPlay and disconnect my iPhone. I have sent an email to Ford to confirm if the feature is really ena...

911 Assist feature with Sync 3 & Android Auto or CarPlay

Hello I have noticed that my FFE 2017 has the 911 Assist feature but I don't know if it is disable when Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is activated. I have read in the Owner Manual that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto disable some SYNC 3 features but there are not listed. If someone knows the answer, ...

Re: 2017 FFE let's get some real data here.

Unfortunately I don’t have a heated garage. I leave early before 6 am and I prefer to drive on the highway (between 95 km/h and 100 km/h) when we have snow for a safer trip. I would be able to do 110 km if it was a one way trip. The problem is that my car sit in a parking lot unplugged for 10...

Re: 2017 FFE let's get some real data here.

It was -18C this morning in Montreal, Qc this morning. I drive 55 km for commute, total of 110 km. I have to stop by a DC fast charger when it is colder than -10C because I do not have enough battery to come back home. My range was around 200 km in the summer, it is normal to have 40/50% less in ex...

Re: 2017 FFE let's get some real data here.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and a new FFE owner. I bought a 2017 in October. So far I enjoy the car but I'm wondering if some of you can help me out with conserving/saving energy. I live in Ontario, Canada and the winter can be problematic. I drive about 35km to work one way. One day last ...

Re: Dc Fast Charging Issues

Hi, Quick update, I have called my local dealer about the problem and he will open a ticket with the technical support service. I should have an update today. I had 51% battery left at start. I have remote started my car 2 times because it was not plugged for charging. When I left the parking, I had...

Dc Fast Charging Issues

Hi, I want to share a bad experience. I live closed to Montreal in Canada and it was very cold today, about -10 C / 14 F. I have stopped to a DC charging station and my car was charging at only 30 amps. After 5 minutes I decided to go to another DC charging station and the charging speed was only at...

Re: Value Charge and Go Time Seems Broken

Yes my Bolt has a similar value charge feature with more options and flexibility. However the Bolt does not offer Go Time feature.
