Re: Hey look what error the Mach-E can throw? LOL

Ugh... nothing i hate more than that error... and Fords lack of service techs who understand and can diagnose it. I actually had a discussion with some of the leads on the MachE project and warned them about this. Releasing a car into battle against something like a model 3/Y and lacking the service...

Re: Fuse Box- What's Hot What's Not

Hmm... I hardwired my dash cam and it turns off and on with the car normally. I can check what fuse im using if anyone is still trying to figure that out. I remember just googling what fuse to hardwire dashcam to in a Focus and had no issues.

That brought up the issue I have had since i got it day one... Its got no tint, ...

Re: Replace 12V battery in 2017-2018 FFE

Is there a reason you didn't warranty the battery if there was an issue with it?
Were you past the warranty period? Did it have a prorated warranty attached as I think my 2016 did.

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Agree...it could be a bunch of different things that will throw that code. I had tested the 12v when i would get the error and it would label my battery as bad and to replace. What I also figured could have been a part of it was any 12v accessories I was using within the car adding additional drain....

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Needless to say... passed warranty... they want to charge me $900 for diagnosing my car all this time.... said the error code indicates wiring harness. Wiring harness cost is $1700 plus installation so total bill will be almost $3000. I asked if they did any of the standard troubleshooting like ins...

You need elm327 and forscan ( https://forscan.org/download.html ) to read errors and parameters, do you have it?
You can read the error yourself and find the cause of the damage.
No I don't. Where is the best place to get it?
