Re: Recent drop from 74 mi to 60 mi

I'll do a rundown test this weekend before I take it to the dealer.

As for tire pressure - I stay on top of tire pressure on my vehicles, seeing as how my "back up" vehicle is a motorcycle.

Recent drop from 74 mi to 60 mi

The past couple weeks, with temps in the 70's in Arizona, my Focus Electric has had a significant drop in range. 31,000 miles, - still a few thousand miles on the factory warranty, but I do have the platinum extended care w/electrical & battery coverage. Usually the vehicle reports 74-82 miles. Late...

Re: PERFORMANCE TUNING ANYONE?

A Leaf will smoke a Focus EV off the line, hands down.

Re: What M/Y do we use for accessories?

Kind of frustrating for my 2015, as it's a mix of 2012, 2013, and 2015 parts.

I want to replace my tail lights, and headlights, but it's proving impossible.

Re: New FFE Overview video with hmm

Interesting. I'd heard the 100mi range was just a software tweak to use more of the 24Kwh battery.

Now, the real question to ask is if the new ~30kwh pack is the same physical dimensions as the old pack.

Re: PERFORMANCE TUNING ANYONE?

Exactly. The FFE is pretty nerfed off the line. I would *LOVE* to get into the guts of the FFE's ECU with Forscan or the like. Here's an interesting tidbit. The FFE's "torque limiter" isn't active in reverse. That's just stupid. You'd think the smart thing to do would be to nerf the throttle respons...

Re: changing wheels and tires

I guess a bunch of us are all waiting for updated / long-term replacement tire info...

The MFM forums are also pretty lacking as well.

Yes, I agree. Roll about 50 feet with gentle pressure, then floor it, necksnap. ;-)

Re: Home Quick Charger

And folks think I'm daft for wanting to put a CCS port on my FFE. Wow... that's some serious engineering work you've done!

Re: HVAC - lower the power drain or disable the heater ?

It was a shockingly quick off the line - I used to race 1/4 mile, so my rt isn't bad. Not quite Tesla like, but enough to make me a little upset that a bland econobox like the LEAF left my Focus in the dust. Still doesn't change the fact I'd love to tinker with the throttle response. I've tried runn...
