Re: How do I get just outside air with no heat/ac?

You must also select a vent. If no vent is selected, the AC will run, even if the indicator light is not on.

Re: Revisiting the A/C on while on auto

If the climate is set to LO and the AC is (supposedly) off, the compressor will run if none of the vent settings have been selected. Oddly, selecting the panel vent turns off the compressor.

Re: Lease with old lease trade in

They said they have one, but they need to flat bed it in. If they have to flat bed it in, that means they have to find one and then transport it in. I'm with Richmond, go to Sandy Springs Ford. See what they have on the lot, (Sometimes they are the only dealer in the southeast with cars actually on...

Re: National Drive Electric Week

The Chicago event on Friday - in my view - a total complete disaster. I'm sorry you had such a miserable time. One would hope that people who drive EVs would be more considerate than the average driver. Here in Atlanta, the event was run by The EV Club of the South, a local organization that has be...

Re: Is my shiny new(ish) focus EV about to become worthless?

Am I off base here? Why would anyone pay more than say $10,000 or so for a used car that has 76 miles range when for just over $20,000 they can buy a shiny new car that is actually practical for more than just commuting and grocery runs? Thoughts? Well, someone who wants a car for commuting and gro...

Re: Nissan Leaf vs Ford Focus Electric

My wife and I displayed our Fusion Energi and Focus Electric at the National Drive Electric Week event this past Saturday at Atlantic Station in Atlanta. My wife remarked on the number of Leaf owners who stopped to talk who said that they wished that they had bought an FFE and who said that when the...

National Drive Electric Week

Atlanta got a jump on National Drive Electric Week with an event at Atlantic Station today. My wife and I took our FFElectric and FFEnergi to display along with other owners. It was great fun talking with curious passersby about our cars and about driving electric. I think that we had 15 different p...

Re: What's the biggest thing you miss about your old ICE?

The biggest thing was the whole inside of the back of the minivan when the seats were out. What I really miss is being able to put five adults and all their luggage in one vehicle to go on a trip. Last time we did a long trip together, I rented a minivan. I'm good with that. Could you take your 201...

Re: Thinking about a FFE

There are some charging stations near her work. We are thinking she could drive to work(43.9 miles). Drive to a charging station after work and then charge for 30 min while she grades papers or lesson plans(9.6 miles). Then drive home(34.8 miles). Waiting on the car to charge is not what I would wa...
