Re: Reported Range after full charge

The tires are fairly new Hercules Ironman iMove. They are supposed to be low rolling resistance tires. As one might imagine, not all LRR tires are created equal. Out of curiosity, I looked up these tires and compared them to the OEM Michelins, here are differences: - iMove has a 420 treadwear ratin...

Re: Reported Range after full charge

I wonder if someone on this site could post their range for a given miles driven. How fast does it lose max charge over time. In real values, not what the company predicts I turned my 2013 in when it had just under 36K miles on it. To the very end, it indicated 100-115 miles after a full charge at ...

Re: You may also get frustrated when you get a flat tire :-(

Looks like Tire Rack has the OEM tire for about $195: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?width=225%2F&ratio=50&diameter=17&rearWidth=255%2F&rearRatio=40&rearDiameter=17&zip-code= ...which hopefully makes you feel like you're not overpaying. By the time you add shipping installation,...

Re: Charge Time and Energy Consumption

The rate tables for the different SCE time-of-use plans are here, updated for 2016. It's not as complicated as it sounds over the phone: https://www.sce.com/wps/portal/home/residential/rates/Time-Of-Use-Residential-Rate-Plans I'd suggest checking your bill to confirm which one you currently have. If...

Re: Charge Time and Energy Consumption

I'm starting to stretch the legs of the FFE a little more as it is becoming one of the the most fun cars I have ever owned. The 110V gets me through the week, but the weekend consumption blows my "Value Charge" out the window since it needs much more than the 10 hour window to top off. $1,200.00 fo...

Re: Leasing in San Francisco Bay Area

Congrats, FFEFTW! Great deal on a fully loaded 2016. Last month my local Ford dealer tried to get me to cough up $381/mo (tax incl), $0 drive-off on a Platinum White 2016 with leather, and he wouldn't budge. I told him I could get a Mercedes for less than that. So that's what I did. I think if I wai...

Re: Voice commands not working, phone and radio inoperative

I ended up paying about $8,000 less than I would have paid for an equivalent eGolf or Soul, with no real tangible benefit. Yeah, that's why I want to just get a new FFE. There are some great deals on the eGolf recently from dealers, but they still don't come close to the factory lease deal on an FF...

Re: Voice commands not working, phone and radio inoperative

Have you looked at the Soul EV? I drove a Soul EV when I was in the Bay Area & it wasn't bad. It's slower than the Focus, but I don't think it's any worse than the Leaf. It had decent instrumentation, but lacks features of MFT such as being able to read your text messages to you & display radio son...
