Re: 2015 Focus spotted in the wild...what will it look like?

I'm curious to see the Golf EV in person. Somehow VW has managed to electrify that one without using any passenger or cargo space. After the experience of owning a B5 generation Passat, though, I doubt I'd buy another VW product again.

I would not be surprised if Ford gets rid of the FFE, or of they decide to continue building it only on the current chassis. I hope I'm wrong. If they do move forward with a BEV, hopefully they'll do it without any passenger or cargo space intrusion.

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Jasper, Please add your Focus VIN to this thread. The next person who buys this car is going to have some history to read about. Good luck! If he is doing this under the Lemon Law, federal law requires Ford to destroy the car. He said it's a buyback. This way Ford gets to sell the car to another un...

Re: Accessing 100% of the battery

The simple answer is the e-Golf won't go 115 miles unless you set the cruise control on 38mph on a flat road with A/C off and 70-degree weather outside. It's just a misleading spec.

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Ford said it was a flash update whatever that means. Nothing has changed in my car, all the settings remained the same unlike when the update was done and I basically had to start over. Drove the car to work today and everything's good so far. I have just about 6,000 miles and it's 4 months old. Yo...

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

MFM is totally unrelated to the powertrain.

These guys are talking about updates to the ECU/ECM software or whatever Ford calls it. They can accept flash updates. They cannot be updated without special equipment at the dealership.

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

I've thought about merging the topics, but that might be confusing. Maybe lock one thread with a link to the other? What do you think?
