Re: 2012 Drivers battery experience

my one way commute that I do once a week is about 78 miles so its a perfect test to run the ffe down to near zero when needing an accurate total energy used number. of course when there is traffic I still arrive with about 15 or so miles leftover but when I want to see the true capacity and energy b...

Re: 2012 Drivers battery experience

I have a 2012 model purchased in July last year and used to have 19.5kw of usable capacity and now its dropped to about 17.5kw all of a sudden the past few months after I hit about 12k miles or so. I'm wondering if the computer has something to do with it bringing the capacity down that much since t...

Re: charging questions and Hi to group

I've been using this, took it along with me when we took a trip from Miami to Ft Myers last summer (150 mile oneway trip) worked out great! even with the car packed full of suitcases. http://www.pluginnow.com/content/power-xpress%E2%84%A2 (got the plug version and installed a L6-30 socket on it) Sin...

Re: 110 Miles + CLUB

I like this idea. I'm planning on doing it next month when I'm crossing from the east coast of FL to the west coast via Alligator Alley. 90+ mile stretch of highway with only 2 rest stops and 2 exits in between!

'12 Tuxedo Black Delivered in Miami!

Not sure if I'm the first or not to have one shipped here to the southeast region, but I think its safe to say I'm one of the first if not the only one to own this car in the sunshine state! Purchased from Santa Monica Ford below MSRP to cover some of the costs for shipping cross-country via an 8-ca...

Re: Stock Sony Amplifier / Subwoofer?

There's no official statement if its the same system or not, but the headunit seems to be physically similar along with the same speaker and center channel locations as the Titanium models' Sony 10-speaker system. Only official statement on the Ford website is that the Electric model has a 9-speaker...

Re: What do you want to know about the Focus Electric?

I wonder why they didn't include the parking assist feature, all they needed to do was at least add the front sensor since the rear sensor is already there. On another note, does it really take almost 20 hours to charge up the battery on 110v? Has anyone yet timed how long it takes to charge up the ...

Stock Sony Amplifier / Subwoofer?

Hello all, Has anyone found the location of the stock Sony Amplifier? In the Titanium models, it is located near the spare tire under the carpet of the trunk carpet liner, but from what I've heard its not in that same location since the Electric doesn't have a spare tire and the trunk is configured ...

Re: Road trip experiences

Hey Whit first of all thanks for sharing all your experiences thus far :-) but the only thing that bothers me is what you stated with the HVAC system always being on. Maybe on your next trip could you test it by pushing the power button off on the AC controls and see if that makes some difference? S...
